who also has made us efficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of [the] letter but of [the] Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit makes alive.

For if the ministry of condemnation [had] glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

And the commandment, which [was] to [bring] life, I found to [bring] death.

being made known that you are [the] letter of Christ, which was ministered by us, having been written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not in tablets of stone but in tablets of flesh, [namely] in hearts.

And the Lord said to Moses, Come up to Me into the mountain, and be there; and I will give you the tablets of stone, the law and the commandments, which I have written to give them laws.

And He gave to Moses when He left off speaking to him in Mount Sinai the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone written with the finger of God.

And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hands, tablets of stone written on both their sides: they were written within and without.

And the tablets were the work of God, and the writing [was] the writing of God written on the tablets.

And when he drew near to the camp, he saw the calf and the dances; and Moses, being very angry, cast the two tablets out of his hands and broke them to pieces under the mountain.

And the Lord said to Moses, Hew for yourself two tablets of stone, like the first [ones] were, and come up to Me on the mountain; and I will write upon the tablets the words which were on the first tablets, which you broke.

And Moses was there before the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread, and he did not drink water; and He wrote upon the tablets these words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

And He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to keep, even the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tables of stone.

These words the Lord spoke to all the assembly of you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire- [there was] darkness, blackness, a storm, [and] a loud voice- and He added no more, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone, and He gave them to me.

when I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant, which the Lord made with you, and I was in the mountain forty days and forty nights, I ate no bread and drank no water.

And it came to pass after forty days and forty nights, [that] the Lord gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.

At that time the Lord said to me, Hew for yourself two stone tablets like the first, and come up to Me into the mountain, and you shall make for yourself an ark of wood.

So I made an ark of boards of incorruptible wood, and I hewed tablets of stone like the first, and I went up to the mountain, and the two tablets were in my hand.

having a golden altar, and the ark of the covenant having been overlaid on all sides with gold, in which [were] a golden jar having the manna, and the rod of Aaron which budded, and the tablets of the covenant;

And what manner of nation [is so] great, which has righteous statutes and judgments according to all this law, which I set before you this day?

Also You came down upon Mount Sinai, and You spoke to them out of heaven, and gave them right judgments, and laws of truth, ordinances, and good commandments.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting souls; the testimony of the Lord is faithful, instructing babes.

The ordinances of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is bright, enlightening the eyes.

How I have loved Your law, O Lord! It is my meditation all the day.

Therefore have I loved Your commandments more than gold, or topaz.

Therefore I directed myself [according] to all Your commandments; I have hated every unjust way.

I have longed after Your salvation, O Lord; and Your law is my meditation.

Therefore the law indeed is holy, and the commandment holy and righteous and good.

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, having been sold under sin.

[ 3:22] And the Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife, and clothed them.

Now when Moses came down from the mountain ([there were] two tablets in Moses' hand as he came down from the mountain), Moses knew not that the appearance of the skin of his face was glorified, when God spoke to him.

And Moses called them, and Aaron and all the rulers of the synagogue turned towards him, and Moses spoke to them.

And when he ceased speaking to them, he put a veil on his face.

And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that it was glorified; and Moses put the veil over his face, till he went in to speak with Him.

And while He was praying, the appearance of His face [became] different, and His clothing [became] white and glistening.

who appearing in glory were talking about His decease which He was about to accomplish in Jerusalem.

And looking intently at him, all those who sat in the council saw his face like [the] face of an angel.

For even that which has been glorified has not been glorified in this respect, because of the surpassing glory.

For if that which passes away [was] glorious, then that which remains is much more glorious.

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is removed in Christ.

For Christ is the end of [the] law for righteousness to everyone that believes.

But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is partial shall pass away.
