Now to those who have married I command, yet not I, but the Lord: A wife is not to be separated from her husband--

But if the unbelieving [spouse] separates, let [him or her] separate; the brother or the sister has not been bound in such cases; but God has called us to peace.

For the woman who is under a man has been bound by law to the living husband. But if the husband should die, she is released from the law of the husband.

So then, while the husband is living, she will be called an adulteress if she becomes [married] to a different husband; but if her husband should die, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress, having become [married] to a different husband.

[ 6:3] that the sons of God, having seen the daughters of men, that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose.

neither shall you contract marriages with them; you shall not give your daughter to his son, and you shall not take his daughter to your son.

For he will draw away your son from Me, and he will serve other gods; and the Lord will be very angry with you, and will soon utterly destroy you.

Judah has been forsaken, and an abomination has been committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holy things of the Lord, which He delighted in, and has gone after other gods.

Do not become unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what participation is there for righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion is there for light with darkness?

And what union is there for the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."
