Now there are varieties of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit.

And there are varieties of activities, but the same God works all in all.

For to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,

to another the working of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, and to another [different] kinds of tongues, and to another interpretation of tongues.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than them all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

So then it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God who shows mercy.

So then He has mercy on whom He wills, and whom He wills He hardens.

how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery, just as I wrote before briefly,

which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:

so that they all might be damned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.

to which He called you through our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

And I give thanks to the [One] who empowers me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He considered me faithful, putting me into the ministry,

and the grace of our Lord superabounded with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, being enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

not by works of righteousness which we did, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

that having been justified by His grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord has given to each one?

For I wish that all men would be as I myself. But each one has his own gift from God, one in this way and another in that.

Yours, O Lord, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the might; for You are Lord of all things that are in heaven and upon the earth; before Your face every king and nation is troubled.

And now, O Lord, we give thanks to You, and praise Your glorious name.

for we are strangers before You, and sojourners, as all our fathers [were]; our days upon the earth [are] as a shadow, and there is no remaining.

In that night God appeared to Solomon, and said to him, Ask what I shall give you.

And now, O Lord God, let Your name be established upon David my father; for You have made me king over a people as numerous [as] the dust of the earth.

And God said to Solomon, Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked for great wealth, nor glory, nor the life of your enemies, and you have not asked for long life; but have asked for yourself wisdom and understanding, that you might judge My people, over whom I have made you king;

For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His presence come knowledge and understanding,

"For [it is] as [if] a man leaving on a journey, who called his own servants and handed over his possessions to them.

And to the one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.

And having called ten of his servants, he gave them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come.'

And out of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.

through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for His name,

Having then gifts differing according to the grace having been given to us, [let us use them]: whether prophecy, [let us prophecy] according to the proportion of faith;

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole batch?

And many brought gifts to the Lord to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah; and he was exalted in the eyes of all the nations after these things.

But Hezekiah did not recompense the Lord according to the favor shown him, but his heart was lifted up. And wrath came upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.

And Hezekiah had wealth and very great glory. And he made for himself treasuries of gold, silver, and precious stones, also for spices and stores for arms, and for precious vessels;

and cities which he built for himself, and store of sheep and oxen in abundance, for the Lord gave him a very great store.

And you, son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, Thus says the Lord: Because your heart has been exalted, and you have said, I am God, I have inhabited the dwelling of God in the heart of the sea; yet you are a man and not God, though you have set your heart as the heart of God.

Have you gained power for yourself by your [own] knowledge or your [own] prudence, and [gathered] gold and silver in your treasures?

and say, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am against you O Pharaoh, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, that says, The rivers are mine, and I made them.

the king answered and said, Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for a royal residence, by the might of my power, for the honor of my glory?

And they [shall] drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the wild beasts of the field, and they shall feed you with grass like an ox. And seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High is Lord of the kingdom of men, and He shall give it to whomever He chooses.

O king, the Most High God gave to your father Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, and majesty, and honor, and glory.

And you have exalted yourself against the Lord God of heaven; and they have brought before you the vessels of His house, and you, your nobles, your mistresses, and your concubines have drunk wine out of them; and you have praised the gods of gold, silver, brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, and which hear not, and know not: and the God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways, you have not glorified.

And the populace was calling out, "[This is the] voice of a god and not of a man!"

Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And becoming eaten by worms, he died.
