Be imitators of me, just as I also [am] of Christ.

And whenever he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.

But they will by no means follow a stranger, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers."

Be fellow imitators of me, brothers, and look out for those walking this way, just as you have us for a pattern.

And you became imitators of us and of the Lord, in that you received the word in much tribulation, with joy of the Holy Spirit,

not because we do not have authority, but in order that we may give ourselves as a pattern to you, so that you might follow us.

Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you, of whom considering the result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

nor as being masters over the flock [under you], but rather being examples to the flock.
