But God said to him, ['You] fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have prepared?'

Then He said to them, "O [you] foolish, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

Professing to be wise, they became fools,

See then that you walk carefully, not as unwise, but as wise,

Most assuredly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
