And for the stranger who is not of Your people,

then shall You hear [them] from heaven, out of Your established dwelling place, and You shall do according to all that the stranger shall call upon You for, that all the nations may know Your name, and fear You, as [do] Your people Israel, and may know that Your name has been called on this house which I have built.

And the sailors were alarmed, and cried everyone to his god, and cast out the wares that were in the ship into the sea, that it might be lightened of them. But Jonah had gone down into the hold of the ship, and was asleep, and snored.

And he said to them, I am a servant of the Lord; and I worship the Lord God of heaven, who made the sea, and the dry land.

And they said to him, What shall we do to you, that the sea may be calm to us? For the sea rose, and lifted its waves exceedingly.

And the men of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them to the least of them.

And proclamation was made, and it was commanded in Nineveh by the king and by his great men, saying, Let not men, or cattle, or oxen, or sheep, taste any thing, nor feed, nor drink water.

Who knows if God will relent, and turn from His fierce anger, and so we shall not perish?

But without faith it is impossible to please [God], for it is necessary [for] the [one] approaching God to believe that He is, and that He becomes a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

And the prayer of faith will save the [one] who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.

through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for His name,

[] Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to [the] revelation of [the] mystery kept secret since the world began,

[] but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the eternal God, for obedience to the faith--

And He said to them, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.

He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that does not believe shall be condemned.

Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that [by] believing you may have life in His name.

[he] said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit, having believed?" So they said to him, "We have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit."

delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you,

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, [in order for] them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the proclamation might be fulfilled, and all the Gentiles might hear, and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

but has in due time manifested His word in a proclamation, [with] which I was entrusted according to the command of God our Savior;
