When the Most High divided the nations, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God.

I will give thanks to the Lord according to His righteousness; I will sing to the name of the Lord Most High.

The flowings of the river gladden the city of God; the Most High has sanctified His tabernacle.

Praise of a Song, by David. He that dwells in the help of the Highest, shall sojourn under the shelter of the God of heaven.

For You, O Lord, are my hope; You, my soul, have made the Most High your refuge.

But You, O Lord, are Most High forever.

The matter is by the decree of the watcher, and the demand is a word of the holy ones; that the living may known that the Lord is Most High [over] the kingdom of men, and He will give it to whomever He will, and sets it over the lowest of men.

This is the interpretation of it, O king, and it is a decree of the Most High, which has come upon my lord the king:

and they shall drive you forth from men, and your dwelling shall be with the wild beasts, and they shall feed you with grass like an ox, and you shall have your lodging under the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High is Lord of the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

And at the end of the time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised Him that lives forever, and gave [Him] glory; for His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and His kingdom [lasts] to all generations.

They turned aside to that which is not, they became as a bent bow. Their princes shall fall by the sword, by reason of the unbridled state of their tongue. This is their setting at nought in the land of Egypt.

The God who made the world and all the things in it, Him being Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in sanctuaries made by human hands,

nor by the hands of men is He served, as though He needed anything, for He gives to all life, and breath, with respect to all things.

But will God indeed dwell with men upon the earth? If the heaven and heaven of heavens will not suffice You, how much less even this house which I have built for Your name?

And the house which I am building [is to be] great: for the Lord our God [is] great beyond all gods.

And who will be able to build Him a house? For the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain His glory. And who am I, that I should build Him a house, except only to burn incense before Him?

For will God indeed dwell with men upon the earth? If the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You, what then is this house which I have built?

Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; what kind of a house will you build for Me? And of what kind [is to be] the place of My rest?

For all these things are Mine, says the Lord; and to whom will I have respect, but to the humble and meek, and the [man] that trembles [at] My words?
