And He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell upon all the face of the earth, and He ordained their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

The heaven of heavens [belongs] to the Lord; but He has given the earth to the sons of men.

let them praise the name of the Lord, for His name alone is exalted; His praise is above the earth and heaven,

Shall anyone hide himself in secret places, and I not see him? Do I not fill heaven and earth? Says the Lord.

All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and He does according to His will in the host of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and there is none who shall withstand His power, and say to Him, What have You done?

"But I say to you, do not swear at all: neither by heaven, for it is God's throne;

At that time Jesus answered and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them to babes.

Then I saw a great white throne and He who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled. And no place was found for them.

However, the Most High does not dwell in handmaid sanctuaries, just as the prophet says:

But will God indeed dwell with men upon the earth? If the heaven and heaven of heavens will not suffice You, how much less even this house which I have built for Your name?

And who will be able to build Him a house? For the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain His glory. And who am I, that I should build Him a house, except only to burn incense before Him?

For will God indeed dwell with men upon the earth? If the heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You, what then is this house which I have built?

Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; what kind of a house will you build for Me? And of what kind [is to be] the place of My rest?

You worship what you do not know; we [Jews] worship what we know, because salvation is of the Jews.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
