Then some of the wandering Jews, exorcists, attempted to name the name of the Lord Jesus over those having the evil spirits, saying, "We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches."

And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

saying, "Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy One of God!"

saying, "Ah! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did You come to destroy us? I know who You are--the Holy [One] of God!"

And also demons were coming out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And rebuking [them], He did not allow them to speak, because they knew that He was the Messiah.

Then Nebuchadnezzar drew near to the door of the burning fiery furnace, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, [and] Abed-Nego, you servants of the Most High God, proceed forth, and come here. So Shadrach, Meshach, [and] Abed-Nego, came forth out of the midst of the fire.

And King Nebuchadnezzar answered and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, [and] Abed-Nego, who has sent His angel, and delivered His servants, because they trusted in Him; and they have changed the king's word, and delivered their bodies to be burned, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. But the king said to Daniel, Your God, whom you serve continually, He shall deliver you.

And when he drew near to the den, he cried out with a loud voice, Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lion's mouth?

And he said to them, I am a servant of the Lord; and I worship the Lord God of heaven, who made the sea, and the dry land.

as free, yet not using freedom as a cover for wickedness, but as bondservants of God.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth loaves and wine, and he was the priest of the Most High God.

and blessed be the Most High God, who delivered your enemies into your power. And Abram gave him a tithe of all.

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I will stretch out my hand to the Lord, the Most High God, who made the heaven and the earth,

I will cry to God Most High; the God who has benefited me. Pause.

And they remembered that God was their Helper, and the Most High God was their Redeemer.

It seemed good to me to declare to you the signs and wonders which the Most High God has worked for me,

O king, the Most High God gave to your father Nebuchadnezzar a kingdom, and majesty, and honor, and glory.

And he was driven forth from men. And a heart was given to him after the nature of wild beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. And they fed him with grass like an ox, and his body was bathed with the dew of heaven, until he knew that the Most High God is Lord of the kingdom of men, and will give it to whomever He chooses.

With what shall I reach the Lord, and lay hold of my God most high? Shall I reach Him by whole burnt offerings, by calves of a year old?

and crying out with a great voice he said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure You by God, do not torment me!"

And seeing Jesus and crying out, he fell down before Him, and with a loud voice he said, "What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!"

and he brought them forth outside and said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"

And they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, you and your household."

And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. And when Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

"Enter in through the narrow gate; because wide is the gate, and broad is the way which leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in through it.

How narrow the gate, and confined the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it!

And they sent their disciples to Him with the Herodians, saying, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You show favoritism to anyone.

And they came and said to Him, "Teacher, we know that You are true, and it does not make a difference to you about anyone; for You do not look on the face of men, but you teach the way of God in truth. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?

to give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins,

to give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."

Then they asked Him, saying, "Teacher, we know that You say and teach rightly, and You do not show favoritism, but teach the way of God in truth:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Therefore, brothers, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,

and [having] a High Priest over the house of God,
