Now there were some in the church being in Antioch [who were] prophets and teachers: Both Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen, brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

And they spent a long time there with the disciples.

preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, without hindrance.

Go [therefore] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

whom we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;

for which I was appointed a herald and apostle--I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie--a teacher of Gentiles in faith and truth.

preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.
