Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

"For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, 'And in your offspring all the families of the earth shall be blessed.'

To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities."

Then those who were scattered because of the tribulation coming about over Stephen, went about as far as Phoenicia, and Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the word to no one except Jews only.

But Paul and Barnabas, speaking boldly said, "It was necessary for the word of God to be spoken to you first; but since you thrust it away, and judge yourselves not worthy of eternal life; behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

For Solomon. O God, give Your judgment to the king, and Your righteousness to the king's son;

Let the mountains and the hills raise peace to Your people.

Moreover His salvation is near to them that fear Him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed [each other].

For a Child is born to us, and a Son is given to us, whose government is upon His shoulder; and His name is called the Messenger of great counsel; for I will bring peace upon the princes, and health to Him.

until the Spirit shall come upon you from on high, and Carmel shall be desert, and Carmel shall be counted for a forest.

And the works of righteousness shall be peace; and righteousness shall ensure rest, and [the righteous] shall be confident forever.

For you shall go forth with joy, and shall be taught with gladness; for the mountains and the hills shall exalt to welcome you with joy, and all the trees of the field shall applaud with their branches.

peace upon peace to them that are far off, and to them that are close by; and the Lord has said, I will heal them.

Then the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

And this [will be] the sign to you: You will find a Baby wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger."

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

And all things are of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and who gave to us the ministry of this reconciliation,

Now then, we serve as ambassadors for Christ, as though God were appealing through us: we implore [you] on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were far away have come to be near by the blood of Christ.

having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that He might create in Himself one new man [from] the two, [thus] making peace,

And having come, He preached peace to you who were far away and to those near.

and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

to whom also Abraham divided a tenth from all, first being interpreted "king of righteousness," and then also king of Salem, which is "king of peace,"

without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but having been made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually.

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the everlasting covenant,

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

Him God has exalted to His right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

But I have been made King by Him on Zion His holy mountain,

Ask of Me, and I shall give You the nations [for] Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth [for] Your possession.

Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; the scepter of Your kingdom is the scepter of righteousness.

Because the King has desired your beauty; for He is your Lord.

A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool.

The Lord shall send out the rod of Your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of Your enemies!

Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive in the womb, and shall bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Emmanuel.

If they will declare, let them draw near, that they may know together, who has caused these things to be heard from the beginning; then was it told you. I am God, and there is not another beside Me; a just [God] and a Savior; there is none besides Me.

By Myself I swear, righteousness shall surely proceed out of My mouth; My words shall not be frustrated; that to Me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear by God,

By the Lord shall they be justified, and in God shall all the seed of the children of Israel be glorified.

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will raise up to David a righteous branch, and a king shall reign and understand, and shall execute judgment and righteousness on the earth.

In his days both Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell securely. And this is his name, which the Lord shall call Him, Josedek among the prophets.

I beheld in the night vision, and behold, [One] like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven, and He came to the Ancient of Days, and was brought near to Him.

And to Him was given the dominion, and the honor, and the kingdom; and all nations, tribes, and languages, shall serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom shall not be destroyed.

But I will have mercy on the house of Judah, and will save them by the Lord their God, and will not save them with bow, nor with sword, nor by war, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.

And you, Bethlehem, house of Ephratha, are few in number to be reckoned among the thousands of Judah; yet out of you shall one come forth to Me, to be a ruler of Israel; and His goings forth were from the beginning, even from eternity.

Behold, I send forth My messenger, and he shall survey the way before Me: and the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come into His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant, whom you take pleasure in: behold, He is coming, says the Lord Almighty.

All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one fully knows the Son except the Father, nor does anyone fully know the Father except the Son, and [the one] to whom the Son wills to reveal [Him].

'The LORD said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet" '?

And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him any longer.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.

The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.

He who believes in the Son has eternal life; and he who does not believe the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

so that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

Most assuredly I say to you, that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those having heard shall live.

and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is [the] Son of Man.

and shall come forth--those who have done good, to a resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to a resurrection of condemnation.

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame."

For "whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved."

For to this end Christ died and rose and lived [again], so that He might be Lord of both [the] dead and [the] living.

For "He has subjected all things under His feet." But when He says that "all things have been subjected," it is evident that [this is] except for Him who subjected all things to Him.

The first man [was] from earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from heaven.

which He worked in Christ, having raised Him from the dead, and seated [Him] at His right hand in the heavenlies,

And He subjected all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,

one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of the free gift of Christ.

But that "He ascended"--what it is but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?

And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,

and [that] every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation,

And He is before all things, and in Him all things are held together.

has in these last days spoken to us by [the] Son, whom He has appointed heir [of] all things, through whom also He made the worlds;

But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."

But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.

And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

and like a cloak You will roll them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail."

who having gone into heaven, is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers being subjected to Him.

and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and who washed us from our sins in His own blood,

I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, and elect, and faithful."

And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name having been written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
