And it came to pass as they were going, they went on talking; and behold, a chariot of fire [appeared,] with horses of fire, and it separated the two of them; and Elijah was taken up in a whirlwind into heaven.

And Elisha saw, and cried, Father, father, the chariot of Israel, and its horseman! And he saw him no more. And he took hold of his garments, and tore them into two pieces.

About the ninth hour of the day he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming to him and saying to him, "Cornelius!"

So Cornelius said, "From the fourth day until this hour I was fasting, and at the ninth hour I was praying in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in shining clothing,

I beheld until the thrones were set, and the Ancient of Days sat; and His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head as pure wool; His throne was a flame of fire, [and] His wheels burning fire.

and He was transfigured before them, and His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

And His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

And entering into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right clothed with a white robe, and they were alarmed.

And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel.

And she saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

You have a few names in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they will walk with Me in white, because they are worthy.

And I said to him, "My lord, you know." So he said to me, "These are those who come out of the Great Tribulation, and have washed their robes and they made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
