Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly I say to you, that everyone that practices sin is a slave of sin.

Most assuredly I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall by no means experience death."

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

He was in the beginning with God.

And now, O Father, glorify Me alongside Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Father, I desire that those also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, so that they may behold My glory which You gave to Me; because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

The Lord made me the beginning of His ways for His works.

Even before He made the depths, before the fountains of water came forth;

The Lord made countries and uninhabited [lands], and the highest inhabited parts of the world.

and when He strengthened the clouds above, and when He secured the fountains of the earth;

I was by Him, suiting myself to Him, I was that in which He took delight; and daily I rejoiced in His presence continually.

For a Child is born to us, and a Son is given to us, whose government is upon His shoulder; and His name is called the Messenger of great counsel; for I will bring peace upon the princes, and health to Him.

And you, Bethlehem, house of Ephratha, are few in number to be reckoned among the thousands of Judah; yet out of you shall one come forth to Me, to be a ruler of Israel; and His goings forth were from the beginning, even from eternity.

And He is before all things, and in Him all things are held together.

And: "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.

and like a cloak You will roll them up, and they shall be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not fail."

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

saying, "That which you see, write in a book and send to the seven churches: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as [if] dead. But He put His right hand on me, saying, "Do not fear; I am the First and the Last.

I am He who lives, and became dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Death and of Hades.

"And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write, 'These things says the First and the Last, who became dead, and came to life:

And God spoke to Moses, saying, I am THE BEING. And He said, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, THE BEING has sent me to you.

even from the beginning; and there is none that can deliver out of My hands; I will work, and who shall turn it back?

Thus says God the King of Israel, and the God of hosts that delivered him; I am the First and I am the Last; beside Me there is no God.

Hide not yourselves, nor go astray; have you not heard from the beginning, and [have] I [not] told you? You are witnesses if there is a God beside Me.

and remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is none besides Me,

Hear Me, O Jacob, and Israel whom I call; I am the first, and I endure forever.

"I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "He who is and He who was and He who is to come, The Almighty."
