"I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word finds no place in you.

Why do you not understand what I say? Because you are unable to hear My word.

But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.

But as many as received Him, He gave them the authority to become children of God, to those who believe in His name;

who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught of God.' Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to Me.

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father.

And He said, "Because of this I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father."

But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, just as I said to you.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You have given them to Me, and they have kept Your word.

Because I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received [them], and they knew truly that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

By this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Everyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

and every spirit which does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the [spirit] of the Antichrist, which you have heard that it is coming, and now is already in the world.

They are of the world: on account of this they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

Everyone that believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone that loves Him that begot also loves him that is begotten of Him.

Everyone who transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ, this [one] has both the Father and the Son.

Beloved, do not imitate the evil, but the good. He who does good is of God; he who does evil has not seen God.
