frustrating the counsels of the crafty, and their hands shall not perform the truth:

who takes the wise in their wisdom, and subverts the counsel of the crafty.

The Lord frustrates the counsels of the nations; He brings to nought the reasonings of the people, and brings to nought the counsels of princes.

All the simple ones in heart were troubled; all the men of wealth have slept their sleep, and have found nothing in their hands.

For the inward thought of man shall give thanks to You, and the memorial of his inward thought shall keep a feast to You.
