For He spoke, and they were made; He commanded, and they were created.

He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them out of their destructions.

The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But just say the word and my servant will be healed.

For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this [one], 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."

Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; and as you believed, may it be unto you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham;

"For the promise is for you and for your children, and for all those afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."

And when she and her household were baptized, she urged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us.

And bringing them up into his house, he set a meal before them; and he rejoiced with his whole house, having believed in God.

And Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together with all his household. And many of the Corinthians, hearing, were believing and were being baptized.
