Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found the [One] about whom Moses wrote in the Law, and the Prophets--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said about him, "Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!"

Nathanael answered and said to Him, "Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!"

Because I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received [them], and they knew truly that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

And these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, who received the word with all readiness, each day examining the Scriptures [to see] whether these things might be so.

Therefore many of them believed, and not a few of the prominent Greek women and men.

Come, see a Man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?"

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

But Simon Peter answered Him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Therefore when He had come, Jesus found that he had already been in the tomb four days.

Turn to Me, and you shall be saved, you that [come] from the end of the earth; I am God, and there is none other.

And the Lord shall reveal His holy arm in the sight of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation that [comes] from our God.

Then the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

a light for a revelation to the Gentiles, and a glory to Your people Israel."

Nor is there salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven which has been given among men by which we must be saved."

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame."

For "whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved."

that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not reckoning their transgressions to them, and committing to us the word of this reconciliation.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
