And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;

but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that [by] believing you may have life in His name.

Behold, these are parts of His way; and we will hearken to Him at the least intimation of His word: but who knows the strength of His thunder, when He shall employ it?

O Lord my God, You have multiplied Your wonderful works, and in Your thoughts there is none who shall be likened to You; I declared and spoke [of them]; they exceeded in number.

My mouth shall declare Your righteousness openly, [and] Your salvation all the day; for I am not acquainted with the affairs [of men].

And moreover, my son, guard yourself by means of them; of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

The blind receive sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with Him.

By all things I have shown you, that thus laboring it is necessary to help [those] being weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

And what more should I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, both Barak and Samson and Jephthah, both David and Samuel and the prophets:

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos is forming conspiracies against you in the midst of the house of Israel: the land will be utterly unable to bear all his words.

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than [for] a rich [man] to enter the kingdom of God."
