Then Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you also want to go away?"

Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Then the servant girl who kept the door said to Peter, "You are not also one of this Man's disciples, [are you]?" He said, "I am not."

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. Therefore they said to him, "You are not also [one] of His disciples, [are you]?" Then he denied it and said, "I am not!"

Peter then denied again; and immediately a rooster crowed.

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and he threw himself into the sea.

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

He said to him the third time, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you care for Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you care for Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

He said to them, "But who do you pronounce Me to be?"

And Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Behold, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.

But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."
