Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed.

Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you [people] see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe."

And blessed is she who has believed, because there shall be a fulfillment to the things having been spoken to her from the Lord."

(for we walk by faith, not by sight),

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king; for he endured as seeing the Unseen [One].

And all these, having obtained witness through their faith, did not receive the promise,

Whom not having seen, you love, in whom now not seeing, but believing, you rejoice with inexpressible joy and glorified,
