Show Me a denarius. Whose image and inscription does it have?" They answered and said, "Caesar's."

And He said to them, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

But they could not catch Him in His words in front of the people. And marveling at His answer, they kept silent.

And they began to accuse Him, saying, "We found this [Man] perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King."

But Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, "I find no guilt in this Man."

But they insisted, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to here."
