And the servants and attendants who had made a fire of coals stood there, for it was cold, and they were warming themselves. Now Peter was standing with them and warming himself.

Then He came and found them sleeping, and He said to Peter, "Simon, are you sleeping? Were you not strong [enough] to watch one hour?

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. Indeed the spirit is eager, but the flesh is weak."

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, "You also were with Jesus the Nazarene."

And a certain servant girl, seeing him sitting at the fire and gazing at him, said, "This [man] was also with Him."

Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, "You also were with Jesus of Galilee."

And when he had gone out to the gateway, another [girl] saw him and said to them there, "This [man] was with Jesus the Nazarene."

But he denied it, saying, "I neither know nor understand what you are saying." And he went outside into the forecourt, and a rooster crowed.

But again he was denying [it]. And a little later those who were standing by said to Peter again, "Truly you are one of them; for you are also a Galilean, and your accent is like [theirs]."

And after a little [while] another [person] saw him and said, "You also are [one] of them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"

But Sarah denied [it], saying, I did not laugh, for she was afraid. And He said to her, No, but you did laugh!

[Those] fearing and reverencing men [unreasonably] have been overthrown, but he that trusts in the Lord shall rejoice. Ungodliness causes a man to stumble, but he that trusts in his master shall be safe.

But when Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was to be blamed.

And the rest of the Jews joined him in hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their hypocrisy.
