Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I might not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."

through the word of truth, through the power of God, through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left hand,

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty by God to the pulling down of strongholds,

Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the stratagems of the devil.

Because of this, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having accomplished all things, to stand.

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

For [there is] a cup in the hand of the Lord, full of unmingled wine; and He has turned [it] from side to side, but its dregs have not been wholly poured out; all the sinners of the earth shall drink [them].

You walked in the way of your sister; and I will put her cup into your hands.

But Jesus answered and said, "You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup which I am about to drink, or to be baptized [with] the baptism that I am baptized with?" They said to Him, "We are able."

He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You [will]."

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, let Your will be done."

But Jesus said to them, "You do not know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup which I drink, and to be baptized with the baptism [with] which I am baptized?"

They said to Him, "We are able." So Jesus said to them, "You will indeed drink the cup which I drink, and with the baptism [with] which I am baptized you will be baptized [with];

And having gone forward a little, He fell on the ground, and He was praying, that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.

And He said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You [will]."

saying, "Father, if You will, remove this cup from Me--nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done."

looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured [the] cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

And I knew that You always hear Me, but because of the people standing around I said [this], so that they may believe that You sent Me."

"Now My soul has been troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save Me from this hour'? But for this reason I came to this hour.

Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came out of heaven, saying, "I have both glorified it and will glorify [it] again."

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and I abide in His love.

Father, I desire that those also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, so that they may behold My glory which You gave to Me; because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'"

For all these things the nations of the world seek after, but your Father knows that you need these things.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

And if children, then heirs--heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer together, so that we may also be glorified together.

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: "My son, do not despise the discipline of the LORD, nor be discouraged when you are reproved;

It is for discipline [that] you endure; God deals with you as with sons. For what son is there whom a father does not discipline?

Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we respected [them]. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?
