Jesus said to him, "He that is bathed need only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all of you."

So when He had washed their feet, and had taken His garments, He reclined again, and said to them, "Do you know what I have done to you?

His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him, and they did these things to Him.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and will remind you [of] all things which I said to you.

Behold, a multitude has come against the city, to take it; and the city is given into the hands of the Chaldeans that fight against it, by the power of the sword, and the famine. As You have spoken, so has it happened.

And You have said to me, Buy the field for money; and I wrote a book, and sealed [it], and took the testimony of witnesses: and the city was given into the hands of the Chaldeans.

And there shall yet be fields bought in the land, of which you say, it shall be destitute of man and beast; and they are delivered into the hands of the Chaldeans.

And I heard, but I understood not. And I said, O Lord, what [will be] the end of these things?

Blessed is he that waits, and comes to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

I will stand upon my watch, and mount upon the rock, and watch to see what He will say by me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

For the vision is yet for a time, and it shall shoot forth at the end, and not in vain: though he should tarry, wait for him; for he will surely come, and will not tarry.

Therefore be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer awaits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient for it, until it receives the early and late rain.

Do not murmur against one another, brothers, lest you be judged. Behold, the Judge stands before the doors!

Indeed we count those blessed who endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and you saw the end of the Lord--that He is compassionate and He is merciful.
