And Jacob, having seen that there was a sale [of grain] in Egypt, said to his sons, Why do look at one another?

And becoming exceedingly sorrowful, each of them began to say to Him, "[Surely] not I am [the one], Lord?"

And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, "[Is it] I?" And another said, "[Is it] I?"

Then they began to discuss with one another, which of them might be the [one] who was about to do this.
