But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them so that they did not perceive it; and they were afraid to ask Him about this saying.

But they understood none of these things; this saying was hidden from them, and they did not know what was being said.

Then He said to them, "O [you] foolish, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

But Jesus answered them, saying, "The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

(But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet [given], because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

When he had gone out, Jesus said, "Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in Him.

If God has been glorified in Him, God will also glorify Him in Himself, and will glorify Him immediately.

And now, O Father, glorify Me alongside Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

"Therefore having being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you indeed delivered up and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release Him.

Now this is the main point of the things being said: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens,

looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured [the] cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Therefore, when He was raised up from among the dead, His disciples remembered that He spoke this [thing], and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and will remind you [of] all things which I said to you.

But these things I have spoken to you, so that when the time comes, you may remember them, that I told you. But these things I did not say to you from the beginning, because I was with you.

He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,

And they remembered His words.
