Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me.

And I knew that You always hear Me, but because of the people standing around I said [this], so that they may believe that You sent Me."

Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him.

Jesus said to him, "If you are able to believe: all things are possible to him that believes."

By faith Abraham, when he was tested, had offered up Isaac, and he that received the promises offered up his only begotten [son],

considering that even from the dead, God [was] able to raise [him up], from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.

For the Father judges no one, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

"Most assuredly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself,

just as You have given Him authority over all flesh, so that He will give eternal life to all You have given Him.

Ask of Me, and I shall give You the nations [for] Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth [for] Your possession.

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
