But it was necessary to be merry and to rejoice, because your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"

And you [He made alive], being dead in transgressions and sins,

even when we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

But she who is living for pleasure is dead while she lives.

"And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, 'These things says He that has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name, that you live, and you are dead.

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

He said to him the third time, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you care for Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you care for Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

For if I preach the gospel, there is nothing for me to boast about, for necessity is pressed upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know [Him thus] no longer.

And all things are of God, who reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and who gave to us the ministry of this reconciliation,

You therefore endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No one serving as a soldier entangles [himself] in the affairs of [civilian] life, in order that he may please the [one] having enlisted him.

preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.

You however be watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
