[ 24:6] And it came to pass after this that David's heart troubled him because he had cut off the skirt of his garment.

[ 24:7] And David said to his men, The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord's anointed, to lift my hand against him; for he is the anointed of the Lord.
