And a young man ran and told Moses, and spoke, saying, Eldad and Modad are prophesying in the camp.

And Moses said to him, Are you jealous on my account? And would that all the Lord's people were prophets; whenever the Lord shall put His spirit upon them.

Now John answered Him, saying, "Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow with us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us."

For he who is not against you is for you.

And they were bringing to Him little children, that He might touch them; but the disciples were rebuking those who brought them.

But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Allow the little children come to Me, do not hinder them; for of such is the kingdom of God.

And summoning them, they commanded them not to speak at all nor to teach in the name of Jesus.

But Peter and John answered them and said, "Whether it is right before God to hear you rather than God, you judge.

saying, "Did we not give you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name? And behold, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and you want to bring on us the blood of this Man!"

forbidding us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved, so as always to fill up [the measure of] their sins; but the wrath [of God] has come upon them to the uttermost.

I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves the preeminence over them, does not receive us.

On account of this, if I come, I will call to mind his works which he does, slandering us with evil words. And not being content with that, he does not receive the brothers, and hinders those who desire to, casting them out of the church.
