"No one, having lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light.

Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines on everything in the house.

Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven.

The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands which you saw are the seven churches.

"To the angel of the church of Ephesus write, 'These things says He that holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which [are] standing before the Lord of the earth.
