When I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. [Those] whom You have given Me I guarded; and not one of them is lost except the son of perdition, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

Jesus answered, "I have told you that I AM! Therefore if you seek Me, allow these [men] to go,"

so that the word might be fulfilled which He said, "[Those] whom You have given Me I have lost none."

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Now I, Paul, myself appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, I who face to face [am] lowly among you, but when I am away am bold toward you.

For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving behind an example for you, that you should follow in His footsteps,

who, being verbally abused, did not return verbal insults, when [He] suffered, [He] did not threaten, but committed [Himself] to Him who judges righteously;
