And the Lord said to the Devil, [ 3:3] The Lord rebuke you, O Devil, even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you. Behold, is not this as a brand plucked from the fire?

[ 3:5] And [the Lord] answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to him, Behold, I have taken away your iniquities, and clothed you with a long robe,

"Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also.

I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for [those] whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.

And I am no longer in the world, yet these are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those which You have given Me, that they may be one just as We [are].

I do not ask that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil [one].

Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth.

And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by [the] truth.

so that they all may be one, just as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

Much more then, having been justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up on behalf of us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who is he that condemns? Christ is the [One] having died, but rather also having been raised, who is even at [the] right [hand] of God, who also intercedes on our behalf.

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those coming to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

who by the power of God [are] being guarded through faith for the salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

My little children, these things I write to you, that you may not sin. And if someone should sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not only concerning ours, but also concerning [those] of the whole world.

But those on the rock are they that, whenever they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of testing fall away.

who have strayed concerning the truth, asserting that the resurrection has already occurred; and they overturn the faith of some.

Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to [the] faith of the elect of God and [the] full knowledge of [the] truth which is according to godliness,

looking diligently lest anyone fall from the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness growing up cause trouble, and through this many be defiled;

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the elect sojourners of the Dispersion of Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have remained with us; but [they went out] in order that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, "Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."

And going outside, Peter wept bitterly.

and said, "Assuredly I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you shall by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

And Peter remembered the word of Jesus which He said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times." And going out, he wept bitterly.

And for the second [time] a rooster crowed. Then Peter remembered the word that Jesus had said to him, "Before a rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times." And when he thought about it, he began to weep.

But go, say to His disciples, and Peter, that He is going before you into Galilee; there you shall see Him, just as He said to you."

Repent therefore and turn back, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that seasons of relaxation may come from the presence of the Lord,

Because I kept silence, my bones waxed old, from my crying all the day.

I acknowledged my sin, and hid not my iniquity; I said, I will confess my iniquity to the Lord; and You forgave the ungodliness of my heart. Pause.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation; establish me with Your directing Spirit.

[Then] will I teach transgressors Your ways; and ungodly men shall turn to You.

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I care for You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."

He said to him the third time, "Simon, [son] of Jonah, do you care for Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you care for Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I care for You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

who comforts us in all our tribulation, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, by means of the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Now if we are afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effective for enduring the same sufferings which we also suffer.

I, who was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I was shown mercy because, being ignorant, I did it in unbelief,

Faithful is this word, and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am first.

Therefore strengthen the hands which are weakened, and the feeble knees,

and make straight paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be turned aside, but rather be healed.

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, stay sober, put your hope fully in the grace brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Be sober, be watchful; your adversary the devil walks about as a roaring lion, seeking someone he may devour.

But may the God of all grace, the [One] having called you into His eternal glory in Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little [while], may He Himself make you complete--He will establish, strengthen, [and] firmly ground [you].

Therefore, brothers, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for by doing these things you shall by no means stumble at any time.

Therefore I shall not neglect to constantly remind you concerning these things, although you know and have been established in the present truth.

Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot or blemish;

You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on guard, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being carried away by the error of the wicked;

but grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
