and dreamed. And behold, a ladder fixed on the earth, whose top reached to heaven, and the angels of God ascended and descended on it.

And Jacob departed for his journey; and having looked up, he saw the host of God encamped; and the angels of God met him.

And Jacob said, when he saw them, This is the Camp of God; and he called the name of that place, Encampments.

And Micaiah said, Not so, [it is] not I: hear the word of the Lord: I saw the God of Israel sitting on His throne, and all the host of heaven stood about Him on His right hand and on His left.

When the stars were made, all My angels praised Me with a loud voice.

The chariots of God are ten thousand fold, thousands of rejoicing ones; the Lord is among them, in Sinai, in the holy place.

Bless the Lord, all you His angels, mighty in strength, who do His bidding, [ready] to hearken to the voice of His words.

Bless the Lord, all you His hosts; [you] ministers of His that do His will.

Praise Him, all His angels: praise Him, all His hosts.

And seraphim stood round about Him; each one had six wings; and with two they covered [their] face, and with two they covered [their] feet, and with two they flew.

And one cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy [is the] Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory.

Then the Spirit took me up, and I heard behind me the voice [as] of a great earthquake, [saying], Blessed [be] the glory of the Lord from His place.

A stream of fire rushed forth before Him. Thousands [upon] thousands ministered to Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand attended to Him. The court was seated, and the books were opened.

Just so, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."

that the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavenlies,

Are they not all ministering spirits being sent out to minister for the sake of those who are about to inherit salvation?

To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to you they were ministering these things, which things were now announced to you by those who proclaimed the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven--things which angels desire to look into.

Then I looked, and I heard as it were the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living beings, and the elders. And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and a thousand thousands,
