And when they heard it, they made haste, and every man took his garment, and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew the trumpet, and said, Jehu is king.

They brought the donkey and the colt, and they laid their clothes on them, and they set [Him] on them.

Then they led the colt to Jesus, and placed their clothes on him, and He sat on him.

And many strewed their garments on the way, and others were cutting down branches from the trees and were spreading [them] on the way.

Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, he sat on it; as it is written:

What then was your blessing? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have torn out your own eyes and given them to me!

Have I therefore become your enemy by speaking the truth to you?
