And having brought the boats to land, they left everything and followed Him.

Then He said to them, "Come after Me, and I will make you fishers of men.

And having gone forth from there, He saw two other brothers, James the [son] of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. And He called them.

And as Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." And arising, he followed Him.

Then Peter answered and said to Him, "See, we have left all and followed You. What then shall we have?"

Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left all things and have followed You."

But such things as were gain to me, these I have considered loss for the sake of Christ.
