And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit shall come upon you, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy Baby which is to be born shall be called the Son of God.

If you then, being evil, know [how] to give good gifts to your children, by how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"

For who shall be pure from uncleanness? Not even one;

For who, being a mortal, [is such] that he shall be blameless? Or [who that is] born of a woman, that he should be just?

Alas then, abominable and unclean is man, drinking unrighteousness as a draught.

For how shall a mortal be just before the Lord? Or who that is born of a woman shall purify himself?

And confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among [the] Gentiles, believed on in the world, [and] was received up in glory.

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, innocent, undefiled, having been separated from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
