Then Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I do not know a man?"

And he said, Master and Lord, how shall I know that I shall inherit it?

And Abraham fell upon his face and laughed; and said in his heart, Shall there be a child to one who is a hundred years old, and shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear [a child]?

And Sarah laughed in herself, saying, The thing has not as yet happened to me, even until now, and my lord is old.

And Gideon said to God, If you will save Israel by my hand, as You have said,
