But when she saw [him], she was greatly perplexed by his saying, and she wondered what sort of greeting this was.

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid.

And looking intently at him and becoming fearful he said, "What is it, lord?" And he said to him, "Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.

And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as [if] dead. But He put His right hand on me, saying, "Do not fear; I am the First and the Last.
