If by any means the Lord may look upon my affliction, thus shall He return me good for his cursing this day.

Turn back, and you shall say to Hezekiah the ruler of My people, Thus says the Lord God of your father David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord.

O Lord, hearken to my prayer and my supplication; attend to my tears; be not silent, for I am a sojourner in the land, and a stranger, as all my fathers [were].

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

And you shall speak this word to them: Let your eyes shed tears day and night, and let them not cease; for the daughter of My people has been sorely bruised, and her plague is very grievous.

and standing by His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and was wiping [them] with the hair of her head; and she was kissing His feet and anointing [them] with the perfume.

And turning to the woman, He said to Simon, "Do you see this woman? I entered into your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but this [woman] has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head.

Now while Peter pondered about the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Behold, men are seeking you.

and said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered before God.

For out of much affliction and distress of heart I wrote to you, through many tears, not that you might be made sorrowful, but that you might know the love which I have more abundantly towards you.

longing to see you, having recalled your tears, that I may be filled with joy,

who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up both prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears to the [One] who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His fear of God,

For you know that indeed afterward, wishing to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, having sought it out diligently with tears.

And the apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."

For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; [it is] the gift of God,

For to you it has been granted for the sake of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,

We are obligated to give thanks to God always for you, brothers, [and] rightfully so, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all increases towards one another,

Therefore we also pray always concerning you that our God may count you worthy of [this] calling, and may fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,

looking unto Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured [the] cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
