and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

He answered and said to them, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

Another parable He set before them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field,

Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and mixed in with three measures of meal, until the whole was leavened."

Then He said, "What is the kingdom of God like? And to what shall I compare it?

"Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow.

And it happened, as he sowed, that some [seed] fell alongside the road; and the birds came and devoured it.

The sower sows the word.

And these are similarly the [seeds] being sown on stony ground which, whenever they hear the word, immediately they receive it with joy;

And these are the [seeds] being sown in the thorns; they are the [ones] who are hearing the word,

And these are the [seeds] sown on good ground, such as who hear the word and welcome it, and bear fruit: some thirty [fold], some sixty, and some a hundred."

An ungodly man performs unrighteous works, but the seed of the righteous is a reward of truth.

He that observes the wind sows not; and he that looks at the clouds will not reap.

In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening let not your hand be slack; for you know not what sort shall prosper whether this or that, or whether both shall be good alike.

Will the plowman plow all the day? Or will he prepare the seed beforehand, before he tills the ground?

So you shall be chastened by the judgment of your God, and shall rejoice.

Blessed are they that sow by every water, where the ox and the donkey tread.

And He spoke to them many things in parables, saying: "Behold, a sower went out to sow.

Another parable He set before them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man sowing good seed in his field.

A sower went out to sow his seed. And as he sowed, some fell alongside the road; and it was trampled down, and the birds of the air devoured it.

"Now this is the parable: The seed is the word of God.

And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit unto eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.

"I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors."

Most assuredly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God gives the increase.

Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those making peace.

having been born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

but the word of the LORD endures forever." Now this is the word which was proclaimed to you.
