And I heard one saint speaking, and a saint said to a certain one speaking, How long shall the vision continue, [even] the removal of the sacrifice, and the bringing in of the sin of desolation; and [how long] shall the sanctuary and host be trampled?

And one week shall establish the covenant with many. And in the midst of the week my sacrifice and drink offering shall be taken away: and on the temple [shall be] the abomination of desolations; and at the end of the time an end shall be put to the desolation.

And from the time of the removal of the perpetual sacrifice, when the abomination of desolation shall be set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

"Therefore when you see the 'abomination of desolation,' spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place" (whoever reads, let him understand),

Let the [one] on the housetop not go down to take the things out of his house.

But woe to those [women] who are pregnant, and to the [women] nursing a baby in those days!

For then there shall be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until now, nor by any means shall be.

Then if someone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There!' do not believe [it].

See, I have told you in advance.

For as the lightning comes out from the east and flashes to the west, so shall also be the coming of the Son of Man.

"But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation has drawn near.

For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that has been written.

JOD. The oppressor has stretched out his hand on all her desirable things, for she has seen the Gentiles entering into her sanctuary, [concerning] whom You commanded that they should not enter into Your congregation.

Therefore thus says the Lord God: No alien, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into My sanctuary, of all the children of strangers that are in the midst of the house of Israel.

Jesus said to them, "Have you understood all these things?" They said to Him, "Yes, Lord."

And Phillip, running up to it, heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, "Indeed, do you know what you are reading?"

And he said, "How can I, if not someone guides me?" And he urged Philip to come up and sit with him.

Likewise the lifeless things, when they make a sound, whether flute or harp, unless they make a distinction in the tones, how will it be known what is being played on the flute, or what is being played on the harp?

For if the trumpet gives an indistinct sound, who will prepare for battle?

Brothers, do not be children in your understanding; rather, in malice be children, but in understanding be men.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and who keep the things having been written in it; for the time is near.

Here is wisdom. Let him that has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is [the] number of man--his number is 666.

Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the fields enter into her.

But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing a baby in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath among this people.
