But if God thus clothes the grass of the field, which exists today, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, [will He] not much more [clothe] you, [O you] of little faith?

But seeing the strong wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"

And immediately, Jesus reaching out His hand, laid hold of him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?"

But Jesus, knowing [about it], said to them, "O you of little faith, why are you reasoning among yourselves, because you did not take bread?

Fear not; for I am with you; wander not; for I am your God, who has strengthened you; and I have helped you, and have established you with My righteous right hand.

You shall seek them, and you shall not find the men who shall insolently rage against you; for they shall be as if they were not, and they that war against you shall not be.

Fear not, Jacob, [and you] Israel few in number; I have helped you, says your God, He that redeems you, O Israel.

But He said to them, "Why are you so fearful? How [is it that] you do not have faith?"

But He said to them, "Where is your faith?" But becoming afraid, they marveled, saying to one another, "Who then is this? For He commands both the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"

he did not waver at the promise of God in unbelief, but was empowered by faith, giving glory to God,

So the men marveled, saying, "What kind [of Man] is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

And I shut up the sea with gates, when it rushed out, coming forth out its mother's womb.

And I set bounds to it, surrounding it with bars and gates.

who trouble the depth of the sea, the sounds of its waves.

You rule the power of the sea; and You calm the tumult of its waves.

The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voices,

at the voices of many waters; the billows of the sea are wonderful; the Lord is wonderful in high places.

The deep, like a garment, is His covering; the waters shall stand on the hills.

They go up to the mountains, and down to the plains, to the place which You founded for them.

Then they cry to the Lord in their affliction, and He brings them out of their distresses.

And they are glad, because they are quiet; and He guides them to their desired haven.

The sea saw and fled; Jordan was turned back.

What [ailed] you, O sea, that you fled? And you, O Jordan, that you were turned back?

The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

and when He strengthened the clouds above, and when He secured the fountains of the earth;

and when He strengthened the foundations of the earth;

Why did I come, and there was no man? [Why] did I call, and there was none to hearken? Is not My hand strong to redeem? Or can I not deliver? Behold, by My rebuke I will dry up the sea, and make rivers a wilderness; and their fish shall be dried up because there is no water, and shall die of thirst.

The Lord, [even] God, gives me the tongue of instruction, to know when it is fit to speak a word; He has appointed for me early, He has given me an ear to hear;

Who led Moses with His right hand, the arm of His glory? He forced the water [to separate] from before him, to make Himself an everlasting name.

He threatens the sea, and dries it up, and exhausts all the rivers: the land of Bashan and Carmel are brought low, and the flourishing [trees] of Lebanon have come to nought.

Were You angry, O Lord, with the rivers? Or was Your wrath against the rivers, or Your anger against the sea? For You will mount on Your horses, and Your chariots are salvation.

And having awakened He rebuked the wind, and He said to the sea, "Be quiet, be muzzled!" And the wind abated and there was a great calm.

And they feared exceedingly, and were saying to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!"

Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the fourth watch of the night He came to them walking on the sea, and He wanted to pass by them.

for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He spoke with them, and said to them, "Have courage! [It is] I AM; do not be afraid."

And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" Then He arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water. And they ceased, and there was a calm.

But He said to them, "Where is your faith?" But becoming afraid, they marveled, saying to one another, "Who then is this? For He commands both the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"

and having in his hand a scroll having been opened. And he put his right foot on the sea, but his left [one] on the land,
