Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples."

So He said to them, "Whenever you pray, say: Our Father in the heavens, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

"Take care not to be doing your charitable giving before men, so as to be seen by them. Otherwise, you have not a reward from your Father in heaven.

But you, whenever you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly.

"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Thus let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and they may glorify your Father who is in heaven.

You therefore be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, by how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them shall fall on the ground apart from the [will] of your Father.

But I say to you, that I will by no means drink of this fruit of the vine from now [on], until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom."

Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, let Your will be done."

For You are our Father; for [though] Abraham knew us not, and Israel did not acknowledge us, yet do You, O Lord, our Father, deliver us; Your name has been upon us from the beginning.

And now, O Lord, You are our Father, and we are clay, all [of us] the work of Your hands.

I will arise and go to my father, and I will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,

And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.'

Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brothers and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.'"

To all those who are in Rome, beloved of God, called [to be] saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again unto fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."

Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead),

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba, Father!"

And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one's work, pass the time of your sojourning [here] in fear;

Do not call [anyone] on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

And he said, O Lord God of my fathers, are not You God in heaven above, and are not You Lord of all the kingdoms of the nations? And [is there] not in Your hand the might of dominion, and there is no one who can resist You?

But our God has done in heaven and on earth, whatsoever He has pleased.

Thus says the Most High, who dwells on high forever, Holy in the holies is His name, the Most High resting in the holies, and giving patience to the faint-hearted, and giving life to the broken-hearted;

Thus says the Lord: Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool; what kind of a house will you build for Me? And of what kind [is to be] the place of My rest?

And Moses said to Aaron, This is the thing which the Lord spoke, saying, I will be sanctified among them that draw near to Me, and I will be glorified in the whole congregation; and Aaron was pricked [in his heart].

Let Your name be magnified forever.

then shall You hear [them] from heaven, out of Your established dwelling place, and You shall do according to all that the stranger shall call upon You for, that all the nations may know Your name, and fear You, as [do] Your people Israel, and may know that Your name has been called on this house which I have built.

And let Your name [be] established and magnified forever, [men] saying, Lord, Lord, Almighty God of Israel; and [let] the house of Your servant David [be] established before You.

And the Levites, Jeshua and Kadmiel, said, Rise up, bless the Lord our God forever and ever; and let them bless Your glorious name, and exalt it with all blessing and praise.

Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, who alone does wonders.

He sent redemption to His people; He commanded His covenant forever; holy and fearful is His name.

And one cried to the other, and they said, Holy, holy, holy [is the] Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory.

But now, O Lord our God, deliver us from his hands, that every kingdom of the earth may know that You alone are God.

And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, when I am sanctified among you before their eyes.

And I will be magnified, and sanctified, and glorified; and I will be known in the presence of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord.

For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord; it shall cover them as water.

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth. In that day there shall be one Lord, and His name one,

For from the rising of the sun, even to the going down thereof, My name has been glorified among the Gentiles; and in every place incense is offered to My name, and a pure offering: for My name is great among the Gentiles, says the Lord Almighty.

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!"

So He said to them, "Whenever you pray, say: Our Father in the heavens, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or is able to see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

"You are worthy, our Lord and God, the Holy [One], to receive the glory and the honor and the power; because You created all things, and by Your will they existed and they were created."

saying with a loud voice: "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive the power and the wealth and wisdom and strength, and honor and glory and blessing!"
