The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is clear, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is evil, your body also is dark.

Therefore if your whole body is full of light, not having any part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives light to you."

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were sharing food with joy and simplicity of heart,

But I fear, lest perhaps as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Slaves, obey your masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in simplicity of heart, as to Christ;

Bondservants, obey your masters according to the flesh in all things, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
