But they said, "Not during the feast, lest a disturbance take place among the people."

"But you have a custom that I should release someone to you at the Passover. Therefore do you wish [that] I should release the King of the Jews?"

But after two years had passed, Felix received Porcius Festus as his successor; and Felix, desiring to grant favors to the Jews, left Paul in prison.

But Festus, desiring to grant a favor to the Jews, answered Paul and said, "Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and there be judged before me concerning these things?"
