But seeing the crowds, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed and prostrated, like sheep having no shepherd.

And coming out, Jesus saw a large crowd, and He was moved with compassion towards them, and healed their sick.

Now Jesus, having summoned His disciples, He said, "I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been remaining with Me three days, and they do not have anything to eat. And I do not desire to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."

The Lord is compassionate, and merciful; long suffering, and abundant in mercy.

When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."

Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

Jesus wept.

Therefore He was obligated to become like His brothers in all [respects], in order that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in things [pertaining] to God, in order that He might make propitiation for the sins of the people.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but having been tempted in all [respects] in quite the same way as [we are], yet without sin.

Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Finally, all [of you] be like-minded, sympathetic, loving the brothers, compassionate, friendly,

Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith, let it be unto you."

And when he had taken him aside from the crowd privately, He put His fingers in his ears, and having spit, He touched his tongue.

But Jesus answered and said, "Stop right there." And touching his ear, He healed him.

Having said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay from the saliva; and He applied the clay on the eyes of the blind [man].

And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam" (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

And He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up, and began to serve Him.

Before I was afflicted, I transgressed; therefore have I kept Your word.

[It is] good for me that You have afflicted me; that I might learn Your statutes.

And immediately he received [his] sight, and was following Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw [this], gave praise to God.

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, [in order for] them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'
