So He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One, [that is], God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments."

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly I say to you, that with difficulty a rich [man] shall enter the kingdom of heaven.

And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than [for] a rich [man] to enter the kingdom of God."

strengthening the souls of the disciples, urging [them] to continue in the faith, [saying], "Through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God."

Let us therefore be diligent to enter into that rest, lest anyone falls in the same example of disobedience.

But there shall by no means enter into it any common [thing], and the [one] doing an abomination and a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give [as] an exchange for his soul?

For whoever desires to save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake shall save it.

For what is a man profited if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost?
