Then He came to Capernaum. And being in the house He asked them, "What were you disputing about with one another on the road?"

And this is what they shall give, as many as pass the survey, half a shekel which is according to the shekel of the sanctuary (a shekel is twenty gerahs). The half-shekel [shall be] the offering to the Lord.

He made the bronze laver, and the bronze base of it of the mirrors of the women that fasted, who fasted by the doors of the tabernacle of witness, in the day in which he set it up.
