And Jesus went about all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every illness among the people.

"Now this is the parable: The seed is the word of God.

But those on the rock are they that, whenever they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of testing fall away.

But that which fell on the good ground, these are such who when they heard the word, with a noble and good heart, hold on to it and bear fruit with endurance.

And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has drawn near to you.'

And now behold, now I know that you all, among whom I have passed through preaching the kingdom of God, will no longer see my face.

And having appointed for him a day, many came to him at his house, to whom he was explaining and solemnly testifying to the kingdom of God, and persuading them of the things concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning till evening.

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor falsifying the word of God, but by the disclosure of the truth, commending ourselves to every man's conscience before God.

But even if our gospel is hidden, it is hidden among those who are perishing,

To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; and [there is] good understanding to all that practice it: and godliness toward God is the beginning of discernment; but the ungodly will nullify wisdom and instruction.

Wisdom sings aloud in passages, and in the broad places speaks boldly.

So long as the simple cleave to justice, they shall not be ashamed: but the foolish being lovers of haughtiness, having become ungodly have hated knowledge, and have become subject to reproofs.

[My] son, if you will receive the utterance of my commandment, and hide it within you;

For if you shall call to wisdom, and utter your voice for understanding;

then shall you understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

Why has the fool wealth? For a senseless man will not be able to purchase wisdom. [ 17:16A] He that exalts his own house seeks ruin, and he that turns aside from instruction shall fall into mischief.

A man who wishes to separate from friends seeks excuses, but at all times he will be liable to reproach.

A senseless man feels no need of wisdom, for he is rather led by folly.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.

For everyone that does evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works be exposed.

Why do you not understand what I say? Because you are unable to hear My word.

Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?" And having said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, "I find no fault in Him.

But when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some were scoffing, but others said, "We will hear you again concerning this."

But if it is a question about a word and names and your own law, see [to it] yourselves; for I do not wish to be a judge of these things."

And as he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment which is going to be, Felix became afraid and answered, "Go away for now; but when I have opportunity I will summon you."

Meanwhile he also hoped that money would be given him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore sending for him more often, he was conversing with him.

but had some questions against him about their own religion and about a certain Jesus, who had died, whom Paul affirmed to be living.

And being uncertain [as to] the investigation concerning this, I asked whether he was willing to go to Jerusalem and there be judged concerning these charges.

and when they withdrew, they were speaking among themselves, saying, "This man practices nothing worthy of death or chains."

Then Agrippa said to Festus, "This man could have been released if he had not appealed to Caesar."

And just as they did not approve to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things which are not fitting;

But to those who are contentious, and who disobey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath,

so that they all might be damned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.

On account of this we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.

And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true; and we are in Him that is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

And the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the evil [one].

And these are the [seeds] beside the road where the word is sown, and whenever they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word which was sown in their hearts.

And those beside the road are they that hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, lest they believe and be saved.

I am writing to you, fathers, because you have come to know Him [who is] from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil [one]. I am writing to you, little children, because you have come to know the Father.

I wrote to you, fathers, because you have come to know Him [who is] from the beginning. I wrote to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil [one].

not as Cain who was of the evil one and slew his brother. And for what reason did he slay him? Because his works were evil and the [works] of his brother were righteous.

We know that everyone begotten of God does not sin; but he that was begotten of God keeps himself, and the evil [one] does not touch him.
